Dr Stevan Fox

I am an endoscopist and GP principal. I started in endoscopy over 5 years ago and currently perform diagnostic and therapeutic gastroscopy (oral and trans-nasal), flexible sigmoidoscopy, colonoscopy and PEG insertion. I work at St Michael’s hospital, Braintree and Saffron Walden hospital on Wednesdays, Broomfield hospital, Chelmsford on Thursdays and Colchester hospital on Fridays. I am also involved in training other GPs and nurses in endoscopy procedures. 

Dr Indu Tiwari

I trained in gastroenterology in India and the UK. I worked as a consultant gastroenterologist in the Middle East and as an Associate Specialist in the UK. I have been doing both diagnostic and therapeutic upper and lower gastrointestinal endoscopies for more than 25 years. 

Dr Tipu Naqvi

I am a GP with a special interest in gastroenterology. I trained as a hospital doctor in the Republic of Ireland where I worked for nearly ten years before moving to Britain to do General Practice.  At present I do upper GI endoscopies.

For 9 years I have worked as a nurse endoscopist performing over 5000 upper endoscopy procedures. I work as an upper GI cancer clinical nurse specialist. I have recently qualified to perform flexible sigmoidoscopy.
I also perform PEG placement and lead the PEG multi disciplinary team at Broomfield hospital. 

Mrs Glynis Wheeler

I qualified as a registered nurse in 1994 and then trained in endoscopy in 2001. I have been performing flexible sigmoidoscopy since 2003 and currently have two flexible sigmoidoscopy lists a week. In addition, I have one colonoscopy list a week and two rectal bleed clinics a week. I have an interest in teaching new staff and students and have assisted in the training of doctors and nurses wishing to learn endoscopy procedures

As well as being the sister of the endoscopy and minor operations unit in Braintree I am also Qualified to perform Flexible Sigmoidoscopy.  I currently do these procedures in Braintree, and Saffron Walden. I have been qualified for approximately 2 years.  I did my theoretical training through the University of East Anglia and the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital.  My practical training was performed at Broomfield Hospital. September 2008 I did the Advanced Nurse Practise for Flexible Sigmoidoscopy through Kings College London, and St Marks Hospital.
